Ilmaiset diabetestuotteet

Diabetes Wellness Suomi Foundation's strategy is to finance projects whose focus is:

  • Diabetes prevention, complications and treatments
  • Causes of diabetes
  • A cure for diabetes

We primarily fund research that has a strong connection to type 1 and type 2 diabetes and that may ultimately benefit diabetes patients. This corresponds to the wishes of our donors and is the purpose of the fundraising foundation. Our ultimate goal is to find a working cure for people with diabetes.

Instructions for applying for grants

Download the application (see below) and send the completed form to research@diabeteswellness.se. Confirmation will be sent to the email address indicated in the application.

Please note that the application must be completed in English.

The deadline for applications is yet to be announced.

All applications received by the Diabetes Wellness Suomi Foundation are treated confidentially, and they are registered and sorted for evaluation by the advisory committee.

The research projects for which the grant is applied for are evaluated based on the following parameters:

  • Significance in terms of the foundation's goals and objectives
  • Scientific qualification
  • Qualification and experience of the researcher and the research institute
  • What type of diabetes does the study apply to?

Those who do not receive a grant will be notified within a reasonable time after the decision to award grants has been made.
